The Bold New City of the South has now received a bold, new way to buy a car! Carvana proudly introduces its newest fully-automated, coin-operated Car Vending Machine that’s bringing the new way to buy a car to more than 1.6 million residents living in the Jacksonville metro area!
Like many of the other Car Vending Machines that Carvana has launched over the past several months, customers can expect to see the same striking design and functionality that was established as the new blueprint beginning with the launch of our Nashville Car Vending Machine in November of 2015. Echoing our Car Vending Machines in Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas, the new Jacksonville Car Vending Machine similarly stands eight stories tall and is complete with four delivery bays. New to our Jacksonville Car Vending Machine is a freshly designed coin machine that will offer a slightly different pick-up experience compared to our other Car Vending Machine locations.
To pick-up a purchased vehicle at the Jacksonville Vending Machine, the customer simply drops their custom coin into the Car Vending Machine’s coin machine, which then lights up the three rings on the machine and activates the automated vehicle delivery system. With the customer looking on, the Vending Machine then retrieves the car from the Tower and places it on a track, which then moves the car through the machine until it reaches the designated delivery bay. The bay then opens and the customer is invited in to begin their 7-day test-own period with their vehicle.
Following the opening our Jacksonville market in March of 2016, the wait for the first Carvana Car Vending Machine in the state of Florida is officially over, as Jacksonville now serves as our seventh Car Vending Machine location to date – joining Nashville, San Antonio, Houston, Austin, Dallas, and Raleigh.
At the end of the day, our mission is to provide Carvana customers with a new way to buy a car that is as unique, as it is simple. And with our growing number of Car Vending Machine locations, we believe we’re able to do just that, offering customers an improved car buying experience that runs in sharp contrast to the pitfalls associated with the traditional car buying process.
