Used EVs $10K and under:
The Fiat 500e and the Nissan LEAF here are in the same ballpark, at just over 80 miles of range. If price and distance is what you’re looking for in an electric vehicle, either of these vehicles are good choices. However, if you’re only going to be travelling short distances and are only concerned about cost, the electric Smart Fortwo and the Mitsubishi i-MiEV are available at an even friendlier price point. The Mitsubishi is a bit of a rare find on the used marketplace though, so you may need to do some digging in order to track one down.
Used EVs $15K and under:
If you’re willing to fork over a bit more cash, the Kia Soul EV and Volkswagen e-Golf are both excellent options for those looking to merge economy with a little pizazz

Price and year data was collected from vehicle sales data over the past year – each make and model had at least 100 vehicles as part of the sample size. All vehicles were between the years 2011 and 2015. Prices listed in charts are the lowest quartile.
