The Guide to #CarvanaCountry: Cleveland Edition

A car can help take you on your next adventure, but what happens once you finally reach your destination? At Carvana, we’ve grown accustomed to entering new markets and finding ways to weave ourselves into the fabric of the communities who have adopted the new way to buy a car. It’s one of the exciting elements of what we do.

With that, however, we also know that being the new kid in town isn’t always easy. Which is why our series of guides compiled by Carvana team members in our different markets aims to help both visitors and new residents find their bearings and experience the unique flavors, sights, and sounds that each of our markets has to offer. Our Guide to #CarvanaCountry road show rolls on, as we put the spotlight this week on the The Rock and Roll Capital of the World – Cleveland, Ohio!

Goodtime III/Nautica Queen

The West Side Market is the oldest of its kind in Cleveland and offers you the chance to explore tastes from around the world with over a 100 different vendors and a variety of yummy treats and fresh produce and meats. It is also located near Ohio City, which offers it’s fair share of breweries, restaurants, art galleries and antique shops.

Slyman’s Restaurant

Slyman’s has been open since 1964 and features perhaps the best corned beef anyone has ever tasted. They offer other sandwiches as well, such as brisket, roast beef, burgers, turkey, and even tuna fish. At Slyman’s you can expect to find a slice of the city, as everyone from police officers, factory workers, and white collar business professionals are often seen sharing tables and enjoying hundreds of pounds of freshly made sandwiches each day. This is the reason that Slyman’s is considered a restaurant that offers visitors a true taste of Cleveland.
