Autoweek worked with others to analyze over 11.8 million used car sales made in 2020 to arrive at these conclusions.

If you are in the market for a full-size SUV, then consider the Toyota Land Cruiser. According to Autoweek, 16.3% of these vehicles are still running at 200,000 miles. This reliable vehicle comes with a 5.7-liter V8 engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. You can tow up to 8,100 pounds with this vehicle, and with the first- and second-row seats folded down, there is over 91.7 cubic feet of storage space. Those made between 2017 and 2020 have the Dynamic Suspension System, helping to ensure a smooth ride.
2. Toyota Sequoia
Another very reliable option in full-size SUVs is the Toyota Sequoia. Autoweek found that 11.2% of these vehicles were still going at 200,000 miles. A 5.7-liter V8 overhead cam engine paired with a six-speed shiftable transmission powers this four-wheel-drive vehicle. You can tow up to 7,100 pounds with this SUV, and there is 120.1 cubic feet of storage space.
The Blu-ray-capable entertainment system in the rear seat helps keep everyone entertained. This model also contains a navigation system, helping to eliminate guesswork on whether you are on the right road.
3. Chevrolet Suburban
Autoweek reports that 5.1% of Chevrolet Suburban SUVs are still running at 200,000 miles. While this vehicle has been on the market since 1935, consider those made between 2015 and 2020 to take advantage of the latest safety and technology upgrades. The Chevrolet Suburban is powered by a 5.3-liter V8 engine paired with a Hydra-Matic 6L80 six-speed automatic transmission. In 2020, the Suburban turned 85, and it is the longest-running nameplate in the automotive industry. If you want a luxurious ride, consider the top LTZ trim level.
4. Ford Expedition
Recent Ford Expedition models (2018-present) has a turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. This vehicle is available in four-wheel-drive. Consider looking at upgraded options, like those with the Driver Assist package, to take advantage of additional safety features, such as driver-alert warning systems and blind-spot monitoring. Autoweek reports that 4.9% of all Ford Expedition vehicles are still running at 200,000 miles.
5. Toyota 4Runner
If you like to go off-roading, consider the Toyota 4Runner. Autoweek says that 4.1% of them are still running at 200,000 miles. A 4.0-liter V-6 paired with a five-speed automatic or manual transmission powers this option. This mid-size SUV is front-wheel drive. You may find options with part-time 4×4 or full-time, multi-mode 4×4.
6. Chevrolet Tahoe
Autoweek reports that about 3.9% of Chevrolet Tahoe SUVs are still going strong at 200,000 miles. This four-wheel-drive, full-size SUV comes with a 5.3-liter or a 6.2-liter V8 flex-fuel engine with a 10-speed shiftable transmission. The large SUV frame seats eight, and it can tow up to 8,400 pounds. It has up to 94.7 feet of cargo space when you fold the second- and third-row seats down.
7. Toyota Highlander Hybrid
If you are looking for a vehicle that can last and that is a hybrid, consider the Toyota Highlander Hybrid. Autoweek says that 3.8% of these vehicles are still running at 200,000 miles. A 3.5-liter V6 engine combines with an electric motor to provide 280 horsepower in this three-row vehicle. This vehicle comes with an Electronic On-Demand all-wheel-drive system with intelligence designed to give you better traction in the rear when needed. Choose between captain seats or a bench seat for the second row.
8. Toyota Tundra
The first pickup to make the list is the Toyota Tundra. Autoweek says that 3.7% of these vehicles rolled over 200,000 miles. Increasing the safety of driving this vehicle, there is a camera mounted in the tailgate. A 4.0-liter V6 or a 5.7-liter V8 engine paired with a five-speed automatic transmission powers this vehicle. 9. GMC Yukon XL
Autoweek reports that 3.6% of GMC Yukon XLs were still running at 200,000 miles. Depending on seating options, this large SUV can seat up to nine people. Select between a 5.3-liter or a 6.2-liter V8 engine. While this SUV is available in several trim levels, GMC says that over 60% of its customers choose the Denali trim level, which comes with an upgraded sound system, a 15-inch heads-up infotainment system, and a more luxurious interior.
10. Honda Ridgeline
Autoweek found that 3.4% of Honda Ridgeline pickups were still being driven at 200,000 miles. The body-on-frame vehicle has a 5,000-pound towing capacity. This five-seat, mid-sized truck has an optional tent that fits into its bed, which allows you to go camping while enjoying the vehicle’s air-conditioner. Everyone can quickly get into this truck through its four doors. A V6 engine powers this all-wheel-drive truck, which has a six-speed automatic transmission.
11. GMC Yukon
According to Autoweek, 3.3% of GMC Yukons roll over the 200,000-mile mark. You can find options with a 5.3-liter or a 6.2-liter V8 engine, and some versions of this vehicle will seat seven while others seat eight. With the second- and third-row seats folded down, this large SUV provides 95 cubic feet of storage space. Front-row legroom measures 45.3 inches, which is better than many of its competitors. This rear-wheel-drive vehicle has a Hydra-Matic 6 Speed Automatic transmission.
12. Honda Odyssey
About 2.9% of Honda Odyssey vehicles are still rolling at 200,000 miles. This minivan comes with a 3.5-liter V6 engine and a nine-speed automatic on the bottom three trim levels whereas the top two trims get 10-speed transmissions. With just a pull of a strap, you can fold down the third seat if you need additional cargo space. The second-row seats in this vehicle move forward and backward, and they also move from side to side. Buyers can opt for a seven-or-eight-seat vehicle by the configuration of the second row.

While no one can guarantee that your next used vehicle will make 200,000 miles, considering a larger vehicle improves the odds. No cars appeared in the top five spots of Autoweek’s study.

Especially when the weather is changing, keep an eye on your tire pressure. When the check engine light comes on, get it diagnosed, and fix problems as soon as possible.
