The New Way To Buy A Car has reached the shores of River City, as Carvana proudly unveils its Richmond Car Vending Machine location – a soaring 12-story structure that is the first of its kind in the Commonwealth of Virginia and will primarily serve the over 1.2 million residents of the Richmond metro area.
Like many of the other Car Vending Machines that Carvana has launched in the past, customers at the Richmond Car Vending Machine can expect to see the same level of striking design and functionality that was introduced at the launch of our very first Car Vending Machine location in Nashville in November 2015. Designed with red brick and glass, the stunning new Richmond Car Vending Machine is not only 12 stories tall (matching our tallest Car Vending Machine in Atlanta), but can also house up to 43 vehicles, which are available for customers who purchase a vehicle online at Carvana.com.
Upon arrival at the Richmond Car Vending Machine, the customer will be greeted by a Carvana Customer Advocate and receive a commemorative, oversized Carvana coin to activate the automated vending process. From there, Carvana customers get a front-row seat to watch their vehicle descend through the brightly lit structure from the heart of the all-glass tower. Once the customer’s vehicle is in the delivery bay, they are invited to take possession of their car, where they will have seven days to drive the car around town before ultimately deciding if the vehicle is right for them.
The wait for Virginia’s first Carvana Car Vending Machine is officially over, as Richmond now serves as our 30th Car Vending Machine location to date – joining additional Car Vending Machines locations in Utah, Nevada, Kentucky, Tennessee, Texas, Florida, Maryland, Arizona, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, California, Michigan and Georgia.
